Hot Bacon Dressing With Apple Cider Vinegar

Pour the flour and water mixture into the cooled pan with the bacon grease and begin to warm the mixture over a very low heat. Hot bacon dressing is one of our favorite dressings ever.


Shredded Brussels Sprout Bacon Salad and Warm Cider

In a frying pan on medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy.

Hot bacon dressing with apple cider vinegar. Whisk in the apple cider vinegar, rice vinegar, water & sugar. Add the bacon back into the dressing and stir to combine. Drain, crumble and set aside.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the sugar, cornstarch and salt, and slowly pour. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Next, beat the 2 large eggs in a small bowl.

It pairs well with salad, vegetables and grains. This recipe is paleo, dairy free and gluten free. Carefully pour the sugar/vinegar mixture into the pan.

Crumble the bacon and set aside. Stir in the apple cider vinegar, whole grain mustard, sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon pepper and ½ cup water. It’s still a very sweet dressing, but that sweetness tastes so good with the salty.

Drain cooked bacon in a metal strainer, reserving 2 tablespoons of the rendered fat. To this, add your apple cider vinegar… 1/2 cup bacon fat, or olive oil 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 1 tablespoon dijon mustard salt and pepper to taste;

Cook until thickened about 1 minute. Dice your bacon up and cook over medium heat until crispy. Scraping the bits off the bottom of the pan.

1 egg yolk from pastured hens; Simmer the mixture for 3 minutes until it has reduced to 1 cup. Crumbly bacon is mixed with other simple ingredients like shallots and red wine vinegar to create a warm vinaigrette bacon dressing.

While the pan and the bacon grease cool, mix 1 tablespoon white flour with a tablespoon or so of tepid water and blend into a slurry. Remove it from the pan, leaving the bacon fat in there, and let the bacon drain over paper towels. Whisk in the vinegar, mustard and brown sugar, scraping up any brown bits on the bottom of the pan.

Chop up the reserved bacon. You might be shocked at how much sugar is in this recipe but it really gets balanced by the apple cider vinegar. This unique warm bacon vinaigrette will soon be a request for all holiday feasts.

This recipe makes 2 ½ cups of dressing (approximately 1 ½ cups. Raw honey or maple syrup (adjust according to taste) (where to find raw honey or maple syrup) 1/2 c. Once crisp, remove from pan and lay on paper towels.

Whisk in the water and apple cider vinegar. Of the reserved drippings to the same small saute pan set over medium heat, and saute the onions and garlic, along with a pinch of salt til tender. Mix together the egg, salt, sugar, vinegar, and water.

Measure out and prepare all ingredients. Bring the dressing to a simmer, whisking continually. I always use white vinegar, but cider vinegar, red wine vinegar, or white wine vinegar are also good.

Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Then pour into pan with bacon and cook and stir until thickened. In the fat remaining in the skillet cook the shallot and the apple over moderate heat, stirring, for 1 minute, add the vinegar, the cider, and salt and pepper to taste, and boil the mixture.

Serve warm over salad greens. This warm bacon dressing recipe is sure to be a new favorite. Add the 3 tablespoons of apple cider.

Crisp bacon, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup or honey, dijon , +black pepper combine to form the most irresistible salad dressing. Warm bacon dressing with apple cider vinegar. Wash and dry the spring mix and plate.

Remove the vinaigrette from the heat and season with salt and pepper.
